How to Read FurMark Benchmark Results
A FurMark score is meaningful only when the compared runs use the same version, rendering API, preset, resolution and relevant settings. Record the complete test configuration instead of judging one number in isolation.
Score and FPS
The score summarizes work completed during the benchmark, while FPS describes rendering rate. Higher values usually indicate more performance under identical conditions, but they do not measure every type of game or compute workload.
Settings That Change Results
Resolution, anti-aliasing, OpenGL or Vulkan mode, windowed or fullscreen operation, driver version, power limits and background applications can all change the outcome.
Temperature and Clock Behavior
Compare the performance graph with GPU clock, power and temperature. A falling clock after warm-up may explain a lower score and can indicate an expected power limit or thermal throttling.
Repeatable Comparison
Reboot if needed, close background GPU applications, use the same driver and power profile, let the card return to a similar idle temperature, and run the same preset more than once.
